Job summary

Grid Careers is seeking an Outside Sales professional for an established electrical and industrial services company. This role focuses on selling NETA electrical testing, commissioning and maintenance services throughout Southern California, with opportunities to expand into additional markets.

You will concentrate on customer relationships, business development and closing deals while leveraging extensive support.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and grow existing accounts throughout Southern California and beyond.
• Build relationships with industrial facilities, data centers, utilities, electrical contractors, EPCs and renewable‑energy companies.
• Identify electrical‑testing, maintenance, commissioning and outage opportunities.
• Work with technical and estimating teams to develop proposals, present solutions and close business.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and coordinate project handoffs with operations.

Compensation: $125,000–$135,000 base (“possibly higher for the right candidate”) plus commission with significant upside potential

Travel: Customer visits and regional travel as needed

Grid Careers is recruiting an Outside Sales professional for an established electrical and industrial services company. This role focuses on selling NETA electrical testing, commissioning and electrical‑maintenance services throughout Southern California, with substantial opportunity to expand into additional markets.

You will have extensive technical, estimating, operations and field-service support. You will not be responsible for estimating, allowing you to focus on customer relationships, business development and closing sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and grow existing accounts throughout Southern California and beyond.


• Build relationships with industrial facilities, data centers, utilities, electrical contractors, EPCs and renewable‑energy companies.


• Identify electrical‑testing, maintenance, commissioning and outage opportunities.

Services You Will Sell

NETA acceptance and maintenance testing; relay, transformer, breaker and switchgear testing; substation commissioning; electrical troubleshooting; and planned outage and emergency services.

Qualifications

Established Southern California customer relationships and experience with a NETA testing or electrical field‑service company are preferred.
