About This Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced Director of Partnerships passionate about literacy and eager to collaborate with school districts to boost reading achievement. This full-time, remote sales role involves developing your territory, expanding your pipeline, and onboarding new customers by understanding how Just Right Reader meets their literacy needs. Candidates should reside in Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, or Arkansas and have relevant sales experience in these territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build trusted relationships with district leaders by understanding their early literacy needs and employing a consultative sales approach
  • Develop your territory and maintain a healthy pipeline through regional relationships, attending conferences, and understanding local initiatives, funding, and legislation
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for Classroom Libraries and Take-Home Decodable Packs
  • Utilize sales tools effectively (e.g., Hubspot)
  • Occasional travel for conferences and district meetings is required
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience as a principal or district leader familiar with schools and district operations
  • Ownership mentality with high organization and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organization
  • Collaborative mindset to share learnings and improve team effectiveness
  • Deep empathy for educators and passion for early literacy; prior teaching or district leadership experience is a plus
