About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Director of Partnerships passionate about literacy and eager to collaborate with school districts to enhance reading achievement. This full-time, remote sales role involves developing your territory, growing your pipeline, and onboarding new customers by understanding how Just Right Reader can meet their literacy needs. Candidates should reside in Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, or Arkansas, with experience in these territories and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build trusted relationships with district leaders by understanding their early literacy needs and employing a consultative sales approach
  • Develop your territory and maintain a healthy pipeline through regional relationships, conferences, and understanding local initiatives and funding sources
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for Classroom Libraries and Decodable Packs
  • Utilize sales tools effectively (e.g., Hubspot)
  • Occasional travel for conferences and meetings with districts is required
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience as a principal or district leader with knowledge of schools and district operations
  • Strong organizational skills and ownership mentality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing organization
  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to share learnings
  • Deep empathy for educators and passion for early literacy; prior teaching or district leadership experience is preferred
