Job summary

McCarty Equipment, a SunSource company, is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to expand our industrial hose and fluid conveyance product portfolio across Texas.

You will develop new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, prepare quotes, and collaborate with Inside Sales and Operations. Travel within the territory and participation in trade shows are expected. This role offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B industrial sales experience.
• Experience selling hose, pipe, fittings, gaskets, valves, or related industrial products is preferred.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Grow sales with existing customers through regular visits and account management.
• Sell hose, pipe, fittings, gaskets, valves, tools, and related industrial products.
• Identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales presentations.
• Follow up on leads, referrals, and inquiries.
• Partner with Inside Sales and Operations to support customer needs.
• Maintain customer activity and opportunities in CRM.
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
• Travel throughout the territory, including overnight trips.

Essential Functions

• Develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Grow sales with existing customers through regular visits and account management.
• Sellhose, pipe, fittings, gaskets, valves, tools, and related industrial products.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales presentations.
• Follow up on leads, referrals, and customer inquiries.
• Partner with Inside Sales and Operations to support customer needs.
• Maintain customer activity and opportunities within CRM.
• Participate in trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.
• Travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight travel.

Experience, Education and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of B2B industrial sales experience.
• Sales experience in oil & gas, industrial distribution, manufacturing, petrochemical, construction, or MRO markets is preferred.
• Knowledge of hose, pipe, fittings, gaskets, valves, fluid conveyance products, or related industrial products is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow customer relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
