Outside Sales Account Manager - Industrial Component Service and Repair

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, specializes in providing world-class service, repair, and re-manufacturing of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and mechanical components for various industries. https://www.paragontech.com/

In this role, you will manage customer relationships and maximize sales within your assigned territory. This is a great opportunity for a driven salesperson to maintain an existing customer base and develop new clients.

Ideally, this role will be home-based in Western North Carolina — Charlotte, Lenoir, Statesville, or Asheville.

Essential Functions
  • Develop sales plans with your manager to attract new customers and maintain existing accounts.
  • Manage territory, forecast sales, and build/maintain business relationships.
  • Conduct full cycle prospecting, including lead qualification, cold calling, and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Utilize tools, resources, and CRM systems to plan and manage your territory and time.
Experience, Education, and Skills
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4-year degree in sales, marketing, engineering, or a 2-year technical degree in an industrial discipline is preferred.
  • Fluid Power Certification is a plus but not required.
  • At least 2 years of industrial sales experience, preferably in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, or mechanical components.
  • Experience with hydraulic equipment rebuilding and repair is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and CRM tools.
  • Valid driver's license; overnight travel may be required.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs when necessary.
