Job description

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, specializes in providing world-class service, repair, and re-manufacturing in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and mechanical components for various industries.

In this role, you will manage the overall relationship with customers and maximize sales within your assigned territory. This is a great opportunity for a driven salesperson to maintain an existing customer base while developing new customers.

Ideally, this role will be home-based in Western North Carolina — Charlotte, Lenoir, Statesville, or Asheville.

Essential Functions
  1. Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts.
  2. Manage territory, projected sales, and build/maintain business relationships.
  3. Conduct full cycle prospecting activities, including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations.
  4. Collaborate with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed your goals.
  5. Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory.
Experience, Education, and Skills
  1. High school Diploma or GED.
  2. 4-year degree in sales, marketing, or engineering OR 2-year technical degree in an industrial discipline, mechanics, or related field preferred.
  3. Fluid Power Certification is preferred but not required.
  4. 2+ years of industrial sales experience, with preference for experience in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and mechanical components.
  5. Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment for mobile and industrial machinery is a plus.
  6. Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Proficiency with computers is required.
  8. Must possess a valid driver's license.
  9. Overnight travel may be required.
  10. May need to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. at times.
