SunSource and its family of companies represent 270+ locations and 4,000+ employees, making it a leading North American industrial distributor. We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Account Manager for the Fluid Power team in the Salt Lake City, UT area to build partnerships and drive growth.

You will develop strategic plans, prospect for new business, maintain key relationships, and collaborate with inside sales and technical teams to deliver value-added solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B industrial sales experience; Fluid Power sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or 2-year technical degree in Fluid Power or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of fluid power systems and troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong computer skills including CRM usage and MS Office.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan in partnership with the District Sales Manager.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, customer visits, and presentations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships across an assigned territory.
• Partner with inside sales and technical teams to deliver value-added solutions.
• Leverage CRM tools to manage your pipeline, territory, and sales activity.

We're looking for a driven, solutions-focused Outside Sales Account Manager to join our Fluid Power team in the Salt Lake City, UT area.

Essential Functions

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan in partnership with your District Sales Manager
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, customer visits, and presentations
• Build, grow, and maintain strong customer relationships across an assigned territory
• Partner with experienced inside sales and technical teams to deliver value-added solutions that solve customer challenges
• Leverage CRM tools and data insights to effectively manage your pipeline, territory, and sales activity

Experience, Education And Skills

• 3+ years of B2B industrial sales experience - Fluid Power sales experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2-year technical degree (Fluid Power focus preferred), or equivalent experience
• Hands-on knowledge of fluid power systems, components, and troubleshooting is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong computer and technology skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use CRM systems and related applications
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
