Job summary

State Electric Supply Co. in Concord, NC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth by meeting with customers, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored electrical solutions.

You will collaborate with inside sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure exceptional service, travel within your territory, and build lasting customer relationships in Industrial, Commercial, and Residential segments.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience, preferably in electrical distribution or related industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for building customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and drive to meet customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
• Present, promote, and educate customers on products and provide innovative solutions.
• Partner with inside sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
• Attend trade shows, networking events, and other industry functions.
