Job summary

Cogent Analytics seeks an Outside Sales Representative / Account Manager to drive revenue in lawn care and landscaping through proactive prospecting and strong account management. This field‑focused role requires disciplined sales, clear communication, and oversight of service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

You will identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and oversee sold jobs from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in outside sales, cold calling, or lead-generation‑focused roles preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a structured schedule.
• Comfortable working outdoors and visiting client properties regularly.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through structured prospecting, cold calling, and targeted outreach.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with residential and commercial clients.
• Manage assigned accounts, ensuring consistent communication, service accuracy, and timely follow‑up.
• Oversee the execution of sold jobs to confirm alignment with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Conduct routine property inspections to verify service quality and identify improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate existing accounts for potential service enhancements and upsell opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, job details, and sales activities within company systems.
• Collaborate with operational teams to support efficient job scheduling, service delivery, and process improvement initiatives.
