If you are motivated by success, persistent, positive, and experienced in solutions-based sales, especially within marketing and financial services to the restaurant and bar industry, then the Account Executive (outside sales) role at Rewards Network is ideal for you. Your main responsibilities include generating new clients through canvassing, setting appointments, delivering solutions-based presentations, and securing new business monthly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
  1. Acquire new restaurant, club, and bar accounts within a defined territory by closing deals for business solutions such as merchant cash advances and marketing services through outside sales efforts.
  2. Develop a prospect pipeline, schedule in-person meetings with decision-makers, and advance the sales process.
  3. Create a strong first impression and maintain engagement with leads; build relationships with prospective clients.
  4. Meet weekly and monthly sales targets through cold calls, appointments, presentations, and closed deals.
  5. Collaborate with account managers, contract operations, and inside sales to meet individual and company goals.
  6. Stay informed about product developments, new services, policies, technology, and sales initiatives.
  7. Manage and retain the top 20% of your client portfolio to ensure satisfaction.
  8. Track all sales activities and follow-ups in our CRM system (Salesforce).
Qualifications :
  1. Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree; with a high school diploma or GED and 6 years of related experience, or an Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience.
  2. At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably cold-calling businesses needing financial and marketing services.
  3. Proven ability to develop new business independently in a remote outside sales environment.
  4. Structured approach to territory planning, pipeline management, and new business acquisition.
  5. Strong financial knowledge and confident discussions about fees, acceptance, and finances.
  6. Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation skills that differentiate Rewards Network.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and CRM systems like Salesforce.
  8. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
