Job summary

SPEC Building Materials Corporation, a leading wholesale distributor of building materials for contractors, seeks an Outside Sales professional for our Wichita, KS location. You will prospect for new accounts, grow product sales, and maintain strong relationships while presenting a professional image for SPEC.

You will promote the full SPEC product line, meet sales targets, and provide excellent service to existing customers.

Qualifications

• Maintain a successful track record selling building materials to contractors.
• Demonstrate and practice excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possesses strong math skills.
• Possesses strong computer skills.
• The ability to manage one's time effectively with little supervision.
• Possesses strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Maintain a current and valid state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Members of the Outside Sales Team are responsible for maintaining customer relationships, growing product sales, and developing new, productive accounts while they maintain a professional image for the SPEC Building Materials Corporation. Team members aggressively promote and sell the entire SPEC product line.
