Job summary

GFiber is seeking an Outside Plant (OSP) Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain the Last Mile network. You will diagnose issues from OSP cables to customer equipment and assist vendor partners in last mile plant activities.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting network connectivity, installing aerial/underground cables, and collaborating with team members to ensure reliable residential and small business service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3 years of FTTH/GPON network deployment experience.
• 1 year of fiber splicing and OTDR testing experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours and travel up to 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair FTTH network from OSP to customer equipment.
• Install and maintain aerial and underground cable plants per standards.
