Job summary

Sysco’s World Class Sales Team is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts in the South San Francisco region. This role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs, with opportunities for career growth, training, and a robust benefits package including stock purchase and 401(k) matching.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience is preferred, along with a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3 years in sales or restaurant management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outside sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and expand existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor a mix of products/services.
• Evaluate market trends and advise customers on products and pricing.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Coordinate deliveries per routing schedule and resolve order issues.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
• Prepare sales budgets, reports, quotes, and menu suggestions.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3 years sales/restaurant management experience
