Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote products and services while building relationships with new and existing accounts in the San Francisco territory. The role may require working non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates will have a business, sales, or culinary background, with strong communication skills and readiness to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline.
• Alternatively, a HSD/GED with 3 years restaurant management or outside sales experience.
• Bi-Lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Research customer business needs and develops a mix of products and service to meet needs.
• Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings, etc.
