Job summary

Sysco seeks an experienced sales professional to promote products and services, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and help customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals.

This role requires driving to customer accounts, flexibility for non-traditional hours, and a strong focus on meeting customer needs within the assigned territory. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of the Sysco Sales Internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet those needs.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and meetings.
• Review daily/weekly reports and assist with sales budgets and quotes.
