Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to promote products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs, with a path for career progression in a purpose-driven organization.

Responsibilities include developing new business, qualifying prospects, and delivering value through product recommendations. This role requires a valid driver's license and willingness to relocate to the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline.
• OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including Sysco Sales Internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and propose a mix of products and services to meet them.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events; collect receivables as needed.
• Manage deliveries to routing schedules and troubleshoot order issues.
