Sofo Foods is seeking an Outside Account Manager to cover the Dayton, Ohio area, with daily travel to Piqua, Springfield, Northern Cincinnati, and surrounding markets. You will grow new and existing accounts, delivering top-notch service to restaurant operators.

• Experience in Italian/ethnic foodservice, restaurant management, or foodservice sales preferred.

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an Outside Account Manager to join our team and grow our business throughout the Dayton, Ohio area.

This is a field-based sales position responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and delivering exceptional service to restaurant customers throughout the Piqua, Springfield, Northern Cincinnati, and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will live within the territory and be comfortable with daily travel throughout the assigned market.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective restaurant customers.
• Prospect for new business and successfully open new customer accounts.
• Manage customer accounts and identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as a trusted resource for restaurant operators.
• Conduct product demonstrations and make recommendations based on customer needs.
• Develop and execute customer-specific business plans designed to achieve sales and growth objectives.
• Stay engaged with customers and identify new opportunities to help their businesses succeed.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in outside, consultative sales with a history of developing long-term customer relationships.
• Working knowledge of the foodservice and restaurant industry.
• Experience in Italian/ethnic foodservice, restaurant management, or foodservice sales is preferred.
• A demonstrated ability to prospect, develop relationships, and open new customer accounts.
• Strong analytical and business-planning skills, with the ability to turn customer needs into sales opportunities.
• A self-motivated, goal-oriented approach to sales.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer/data-entry skills.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, reliable vehicle, and required auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
