Job summary

Sofo Foods in Toledo, OH is seeking an Outside Account Manager to grow our foodservice business across the Dayton, OH area. This field-based role travels daily to restaurants and customers in Piqua, Springfield, Northern Cincinnati, and surrounding markets.

You will develop new business, nurture existing accounts, and deliver outstanding service while building long-term relationships with operators. If you excel in consultative selling and territory planning, this is a rewarding opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside, consultative sales with long-term customer relationships.
• Working knowledge of the foodservice and restaurant industry.
• Experience in Italian/ethnic foodservice or foodservice sales preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop relationships, and open new accounts.
• Strong analytical and business-planning skills with ability to translate customer needs into sales opportunities.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an Outside Account Manager to join our team and grow our business throughout the Dayton, Ohio area.

This is a field-based sales position responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and delivering exceptional service to restaurant customers throughout the Piqua, Springfield, Northern Cincinnati, and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will live within the territory and be comfortable with daily travel throughout the assigned market.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in outside, consultative sales with a history of developing long-term customer relationships.
• Working knowledge of the foodservice and restaurant industry.
• Experience in Italian/ethnic foodservice, restaurant management, or foodservice sales is preferred.
• A demonstrated ability to prospect, develop relationships, and open new customer accounts.
• Strong analytical and business-planning skills, with the ability to turn customer needs into sales opportunities.
• A self-motivated, goal-oriented approach to sales.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer/data-entry skills.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, reliable vehicle, and required auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
