Job summary

Ocean Rescue Alliance International seeks an Outreach & Program Coordinator to design and lead STEM education programs, represent ORAI at community events, and manage logistics for outreach activities at the Reef Discovery Center in Broward County. You will support marine science and reef restoration efforts and serve as an ambassador for ocean conservation.

The role focuses on engaging schools, camps, and community groups, with opportunities to grow partnerships and impact coral reef

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 2–4 years experience in environmental education, outreach, or nonprofit programs.
• Strong communication and teaching skills for all ages.
• Outgoing, community-minded and solutions-driven.
• Familiarity with South Florida marine ecosystems.

Responsibilities

Job description

This is a part-time position: Be part of the Ocean Rescue Alliance International team and part of the new Reef Discovery Center - Broward County’s new hub for reef restoration, education, and community engagement. You’ll design programs, lead outreach, and inspire the next generation of ocean stewards. Make a direct impact on coral reef restoration & help us grow our projects, programs, and partnerships at the new Reef Discovery Center and ORAI facility.

Part-time salary range: $25,000-$35,000 based on experience.
