Qualifications

  • S. degree in the marine or biological sciences from an accredited college or university.
  • Nationally recognized SCUBA certification required within 3 months of hire.
  • Prior experience in tropical ecosystems and identification of Caribbean corals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Coral Reef Restoration Research Program Manager.
  • Lead and supervise staff, interns, and volunteers.
  • Produce high-quality data analysis and visualization products.

Skills

Prior experience working in tropical marine ecosystems
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate
Working knowledge of basic computer software
Experience with common data management software

Education

B.S. degree in marine or biological sciences
B.S. degree in statistics or related field (preferred)

Statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS)
