Job summary

Ocean Rescue Alliance International seeks an Outreach & Program Coordinator to design and lead STEM education programs, represent ORAI at community events, and manage logistics for outreach activities at the Reef Discovery Center in Broward County. You will support marine science and reef restoration efforts and serve as an ambassador for ocean conservation.

The role focuses on engaging schools, camps, and community groups, with opportunities to grow partnerships and impact coral reef

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 2–4 years experience in environmental education, outreach, or nonprofit programs.
• Strong communication and teaching skills for all ages.
• Outgoing, community-minded and solutions-driven.
• Familiarity with South Florida marine ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead STEM education programs for schools, camps & community groups.
• Represent ORAI at community events & volunteer programs (~15 per year).
• Manage logistics for outreach events, workshops & tours.
• Support marine science & reef restoration initiatives.
• Serve as an ambassador for ocean conservation.
