Ocean Rescue Alliance International seeks an Outreach & Program Coordinator to design programs, lead outreach, and inspire ocean stewards as part of the Reef Discovery Center project in Broward County. This part-time role focuses on coral reef restoration, education, and partnerships.

Responsibilities include developing STEM education programs, representing ORAI at events, coordinating outreach logistics, and supporting marine science initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Marine Science, Environmental Science, Education, or related field.
  • 2–4 years experience in environmental education, outreach, or nonprofit programs.
  • Strong communication & teaching skills (all ages).
  • Outgoing, community-minded, solutions-driven.
  • Familiarity with South Florida marine ecosystems.

Outreach & Program Coordinator

This is a part-time position: Be part of the Ocean Rescue Alliance International team and part of the new Reef Discovery Center - Broward County’s new hub for reef restoration, education, and community engagement. You’ll design programs, lead outreach, and inspire the next generation of ocean stewards. Make a direct impact on coral reef restoration & help us grow our projects, programs, and partnerships at the new Reef Discovery Center and ORAI facility.

Part-time salary range: $25,000-$35,000 based on experience.
