The College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Outreach Program Coordinator in Boca Raton, FL. The Outreach Program Coordinator will support the implementation of Rising Strong: Empowering Youth for Substance-Free Futures, a federally funded youth substance use prevention initiative within the Department of Preventive Medicine & Health Sciences. The position will work closely with the Program Director, program staff, and community partners to coordinate and deliver prevention activities for youth and families, conduct community outreach, support the program's education and awareness campaign, and strengthen engagement with schools and community organizations across Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required. Valid Florida Driver's License required. This position requires travel to community sites throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Preferred degree in public health, social work, psychology, behavioral sciences, education, health sciences, communications, or a related field.
$50,000 - $60,000 Annually

This position is funded with recurring grant funds with an expiration date on 09/30/2027. Renewal of funding is anticipated; however, not guaranteed.
