HealthPartners Park Nicollet Laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Assistant, Outreach Phlebotomist to join our team. This role involves specimen collection, patient interaction, and supporting laboratory workflows to ensure timely, accurate results.

You will provide phlebotomy services, assist with scheduling and billing, and serve as a resource for staff on specimen handling. A customer-focused approach and strong organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in phlebotomy and specimen collection preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong organizational skills to manage time-sensitive requests.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control practices.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens via phlebotomy and prepare them for testing.
• Assist with client service and reception duties.
• Schedule, order, and bill laboratory workflows.
• Process specimens, centrifuge, and dispatch to the correct laboratory.
• Answer questions from hospital staff regarding specimen handling.
