Job summary

Park Nicollet seeks a Laboratory Assistant, Outreach Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection, patient-facing duties, and diverse lab tasks. You will support ordering, scheduling, billing, and specimen processing while assisting hospital staff with handling inquiries.

Required qualifications include phlebotomy experience and a valid driver’s license; ASCP certification is preferred. A strong customer-service mindset and organizational skills are essential to maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens and provide client service at the reception desk.

• Deliver specimens to the appropriate laboratory/department and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Answer questions from hospital and clinic staff about specimen handling.
