Alverno Laboratories seeks an Outreach Phlebotomy Services technician in Addison, IL to collect blood specimens and assist with laboratory office duties, including patient registration and data entry into the system. The role requires careful handling of specimens and accurate documentation.

Applicants should have phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel to other locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy experience and/or training is required.
• Background in a medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• May be required to travel/drive to other locations.

Responsabilités

• Collect blood specimens and perform laboratory office duties.
• Register patients and accurately enter data into the computer system; process paperwork.
• Handle specimen processing and, as authorized, perform limited waived POC tests; participate in on-call rotation as needed.
