Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• One year of experience with service-learning theory and pedagogy.
• Experience with national service programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support individual corps members in the AmeriCorps VISTA program.
• Recruit, train, and orient new VISTA members.
• Manage VISTA members and develop professional development curriculum.

Skills

Social Justice mindset

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced office

Willingness to work non-traditional hours

Education

Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/Equivalent with five years’ experience

Experience in service-learning theory and pedagogy

Experience in community engagement or engaged scholarship
