Job summary

Outreach and Enrollment Navigator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Outreach & Enrollment Navigator will focus activities on educating consumers about the Illinois Health Insurance Exchange, the Marketplace, and insurance affordability programs such as Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program. This role will motivate community members to make decisions on obtaining health care coverage that best fits their needs with guidance and information provided. This position reports to the Central Scheduling Manager.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Work in healthcare, social services, or education preferred

Technical Knowledge:

• Software: Proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Office
• Equipment: PC, email, facsimile machine, computerized voice mail system, common office machines, video equipment, and multi-line telephone system
