Job summary

Crusader Community Health is seeking a Dental Customer Care Representative to support front desk operations at the Rockford site. You will review dental appointments, schedule follow-ups and missed visits, process MCO claims, and assist with DCFS consents across sites.

You will welcome patients, coordinate traffic at the Broadway front desk, and help deliver compassionate, patient-centered service as part of a team dedicated to quality care and accessibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a role requiring knowledge of insurance terminology.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance background, and front desk skills.

Responsibilities

• Review dental appointments and schedule follow-ups and missed appointments.
• Handle MCO claims work and obtain DCFS consents for all dental sites.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Dental Customer Care Representative is responsible for a variety of patient centered customer care activities. This will include review of all dental appointments, scheduling follow up and missed appointments, Managed Care Organization (MCO) claims work, obtaining DCFS consents for all dental sites and managing patient traffic flow at the Broadway front desk. This position reports to the Dental Unit Manager.

Education/Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in a position that required knowledge of insurance terminology.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, Insurance background, front office skills; including various computer and internet applications.
