Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to join an outpatient imaging team. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with precision and patient comfort in mind as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required ARRT certification, state licensure, and an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology. 1–2 years of outpatient experience preferred. Per-Diem employment offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to contribute to patient care.

Qualifications

• Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography required.
• Licensure: Current state licensure as required by law.
• Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Experience: 1–2 years in outpatient or clinical radiology setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients accurately to achieve optimal imaging results.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Review images for quality assurance and follow image storage protocols.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
• Document patient information accurately and complete reports as required.
• Collaborate with radiology and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of imaging technology and techniques.
