Qualifications

• Base licensure or graduate level psychology trainee; or independent licensure with supervision if needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong customer service.
• Proficient in electronic documentation and standard office tools.

Responsibilities

• Informs clients of limits to confidentiality and payment expectations.
• Performs diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapy.
• Completes treatment plans with clients before services.
• Coordinates interventions with a multi-disciplinary team and provides crisis intervention.
• Documents all billable services within 24 hours and maintains other records.
• Makes referrals to appropriate professionals or agencies as indicated.
• Supervises interns or graduate level trainees as appropriate.
• Handles community outreach and mental health education activities.

All employees are eligible to participate in our 403B retirement program.ResponsibilitiesInforms clients of limits to confidentiality, rights regarding services delivered, and payment expectationsPerforms diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapy services within scope of practice in collaboration with clientsCompletes the Individual Treatment Plan in collaboration with the client before any services are provided.Coordinates interventions with a multi-disciplinary treatment teamProvides emergency consultation, assessment, and crisis intervention, in the office or at the ICU.Completes all billable documentation within 24 hours of the service. Maintains efficient and timely documentation on all other non-billable services such as referrals, discharges, etc.Integrates services and/or make referrals to appropriate professionals or outside agencies as indicatedParticipates in the assessment of program needs and peer review, as well as cooperate with performance improvement objectivesMay supervise interns in professional training or graduate level unlicensed mental health therapists.Performs community outreach and education assignments including mental health education and prevention programs, as well as consultation services.Provides Billable services in excess of a minimum of 50% productivityComplies with confidentiality and protected health information rules.Attends staff meetings, in-services, case conferences, etc. as scheduledPerforms other related duties as assigned including support activities as needed to augment functioning of the agencyCollaborates in maintaining clean, safe workplace, including maintenance of CPR/First Aid skills and aggressive client management skills (TAPS or equivalent)RequirementsRequired Credentials and SkillsBase Level Licensure (LSW, LPC, or graduate level psychology trainee or assistant) or Independent Licensure (LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, or Psychologist) orMust be willing to provide licensure supervision if licensure includes training supervision designationIf not independently licensed, supervision is provided by appropriately licensed mental health provider.Oral & written communication skillsCompetency in areas prerequisite for performing activities noted above.Displays good customer service skills with clients and public at large.Utilizes computer well enough to perform clinical documentation in Carelogic (MIS system) directly, as well as generate written communication in WORD or via email.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
