Recovery & Wellness Centers of Midwest Ohio in Greenville, OH seeks an Outpatient Therapist to provide diagnostic assessments, treatment planning and psychotherapy within scope of practice. The role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, coordinates interventions, and ensures timely documentation and compliance with confidentiality rules.

Qualifications

• Base Level Licensure (LSW, LPC, or graduate level psychology trainee or assistant) or Independent Licensure (LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, or Psychologist)
• Oral & written communication skills
• Competency in prerequisites for the stated activities
• Displays good customer service with clients and the public
• Utilizes Carelogic (MIS system) for clinical documentation and generates written communication

Responsibilities

• Informs clients of confidentiality limits, rights, and payment expectations
• Performs diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapy within scope of practice
• Completes Individual Treatment Plan with client
• Coordinates interventions with multidisciplinary team
• Provides emergency consultation and crisis intervention
• Completes documentation within 24 hours of service
• Collaborates with outside professionals or agencies as needed
• Supervises interns or graduate-level trainees if applicable
• Participates in program needs assessment and quality improvement
• Maintains CPR/First Aid skills and safe transport readiness

All employees are eligible to participate in our 403B retirement program.**Responsibilities**Informs clients of limits to confidentiality, rights regarding services delivered, and payment expectationsPerforms diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapy services within scope of practice in collaboration with clientsCompletes the Individual Treatment Plan in collaboration with the client before any services are provided.Coordinates interventions with a multi-disciplinary treatment teamProvides emergency consultation, assessment, and crisis intervention, in the office or at the ICU.Completes all billable documentation within 24 hours of the service. Maintains efficient and timely documentation on all other non-billable services such as referrals, discharges, etc.Integrates services and/or make referrals to appropriate professionals or outside agencies as indicatedParticipates in the assessment of program needs and peer review, as well as cooperate with performance improvement objectivesMay supervise interns in professional training or graduate level unlicensed mental health therapists.Performs community outreach and education assignments including mental health education and prevention programs, as well as consultation services.Provides Billable services in excess of a minimum of 50% productivityComplies with confidentiality and protected health information rules.Attends staff meetings, in-services, case conferences, etc. as scheduledPerforms other related duties as assigned including support activities as needed to augment functioning of the agencyCollaborates in maintaining clean, safe workplace, including maintenance of CPR/First Aid skills and aggressive client management skills (TAPS or equivalent)### Requirements**Required Credentials and Skills** Base Level Licensure (LSW, LPC, or graduate level psychology trainee or assistant) or Independent Licensure (LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, or Psychologist) orMust be willing to provide licensure supervision if licensure includes training supervision designationIf not independently licensed, supervision is provided by appropriately licensed mental health provider.Oral & written communication skillsCompetency in areas prerequisite for performing activities noted above.Displays good customer service skills with clients and public at large.Utilizes computer well enough to perform clinical documentation in Carelogic (MIS system) directly, as well as generate written communication in WORD or via email.**Physical Demands:**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
