Job summary

Northeast Family Services in New York is seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) or LMHCs who are EMDR trained to join our outpatient mental health team. This fee-for-service, hybrid role offers flexibility, trauma-focused care for children and adults, and growth opportunities as we expand.

Ideal candidates have experience in outpatient psychotherapy, strong assessment and documentation skills, and the ability to work autonomously within productivity expectations.

Qualifications

• Active New York State LCSW or LMHC is required.
• EMDR training or certification required (Part 1 & Part II).
• Experience delivering outpatient psychotherapy.
• Comfort working with children and adults in outpatient settings.
• Ability to manage caseload independently within productivity expectations.
• Access to a laptop/secure internet/phone.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Northeast Family Services is seeking caring and experienced Outpatient Therapists to join our growing New York team.

We are expanding our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic! We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) who is EMDR trained or EMDR certified to join our clinical team. This is a fee‑for‑service, hybrid position with flexibility and opportunity for growth as we continue to expand.

The ideal clinician is trauma‑informed, grounded in evidence‑based practice, and comfortable providing psychotherapy to a mixed population of children and adults within an outpatient setting.

Compensation

Fee‑for‑service: $70–$100 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing clinical care.
• Utilize trauma‑informed and evidence‑based interventions, including EMDR to address trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and related concerns.
• Demonstrate clinical competency in working with trauma histories and complex presentations.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record.
• Participate in clinical supervision, consultation, and team meetings as required.
• Adhere to ethical standards, agency policies, and New York State regulations.

Qualifications

• Active New York State LCSW or LMHC (required)
• EMDR trained (Part 1 & Part II completed) or EMDR certified
• Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy
• Comfort working with children and adult populations
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage caseload independently within productivity expectations
• Access to a laptop or CPS, secure internet, and a phone required.
