U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a registered nurse for the Surgery Clinic Outpatient to provide high-quality, evidence-based outpatient care.

You will assist in intake, support safe transitions, and deliver pre- and post-procedure education within the Surgical Specialty Clinic. The role includes coordinating care, administering medications, and supporting multiple clinic areas with a focus on Veteran-centered care.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required by VA policy.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in the United States.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE) is required.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for outpatient surgery patients.
• Coordinate patient education, self-management and satisfaction across the continuum of care.
• Administer medications and procedures per VA policies and guidelines.
