The VA Surgical Specialty Clinic in Omaha seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Surgery Clinic Outpatient to provide high-quality outpatient care, assist in patient intake, and guide patients through pre- and post-procedure education.

You will work under VA guidelines to ensure safe transitions across the healthcare continuum and support a multidisciplinary team in delivering evidence-based care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted registered nurse license in the U.S.
• Foreign-educated nurses must meet VA equivalency requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality outpatient nursing care in the Surgery Clinic.
• Assist in patient intake and transitions throughout the care continuum.
• Provide patient education for pre- and post-procedure care.
• Support safe, evidence-based care through collaboration with the healthcare team.
