Healthcare Nursing of NYC is seeking an Outpatient Surgical Center Manager to lead daily operations across our Brooklyn and Bronx centers. The role is full-time and on-site, Monday through Friday, balancing administrative oversight with direct clinical support to ensure patient-centered care and efficient workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day center operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, and compliance with established protocols.
• Manage front desk functions including patient check-in/check-out, registration accuracy, and overall patient experience.
• Coordinate scheduling workflows, procedure calendars, and provider availability to optimize utilization.
• Monitor and maintain supply inventory, including ordering, stocking, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and documentation requirements.
• Assist with reporting, tracking key performance metrics, and communicating updates to leadership.
• Support clinical staff and providers to ensure smooth patient flow from intake through discharge.
• Assist with room turnover coordination and maintaining readiness of procedure rooms.
• Help facilitate pre-op and post-op processes, ensuring all required documentation and preparations are completed.
• Act as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams to minimize delays and improve efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and high standards of care.
• Assist with staff scheduling, coverage coordination, and daily workflow adjustments.
• Provide on-the-ground support to both clinical and administrative staff as needed.
• Foster clear communication between front desk, clinical teams, and backend operations.
• Help onboard and train new staff on workflows and operational procedures.
• Serve as a key point of contact between on-site teams and backend operations, including billing, credentialing, and leadership.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication across all departments.
• Troubleshoot operational issues in real time and implement effective solutions.
