Job summary

ICFAI in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee nursing care, delegate tasks, and coordinate patient care from assessment to evaluation, aligned with the hospital’s nursing philosophy and standards.

The role requires NC RN licensure, completion of perioperative orientation, proficiency in peripheral venous access, and certification in BCLS and ACLS. Schedule: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (32 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Orientation including age/population-specific skills for perioperative care.
• Skilled in peripheral venous access.
• Competent to administer Moderate Sedation and assist with Deep Sedation.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications per unit requirements.
• Certifications per unit-based requirement.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes nursing care, delegates activities and coordinates assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Provides care aligned with the health care system's mission and nursing philosophy.
• Maintains access to patient health information.
