Job summary

ICFAI in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee nursing care, delegate tasks, and coordinate patient care from assessment to evaluation, aligned with the hospital’s nursing philosophy and standards.

The role requires NC RN licensure, completion of perioperative orientation, proficiency in peripheral venous access, and certification in BCLS and ACLS. Schedule: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (32 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Orientation including age/population-specific skills for perioperative care.
• Skilled in peripheral venous access.
• Competent to administer Moderate Sedation and assist with Deep Sedation.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications per unit requirements.
• Certifications per unit-based requirement.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in North Carolina.
• Successful completion of hospital and Holding Room orientation which includes age and population specific skills required for continuity of care of preoperative patients and/or patients requiring interventions provided by the Department of Anesthesia.
• Skilled in peripheral venous access
• Competent to administer Moderate Sedation and assist with Deep Sedation
• Certification in BCLS and ACLS by American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Certifications per unit-based requirement.
  

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
