Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree with relevant counseling experience
• Certification in addiction counseling (CAC/CADC) or CADC II preferred
• Ability to conduct individual and group counseling sessions
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments to determine service eligibility
• Develop and review treatment plans with patients
• Provide individual and group counseling and coordinate services
• Engage families in the recovery process when possible
• Address patient grievances and assist with discharge planning
