Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a Substance Abuse Therapist to provide outpatient behavioral health and recovery-focused services for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders in Phoenix, AZ. Qualifications

• Must hold active licensure as an MFT, LCSW, or Psychologist or equivalent Associate license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with serious mental illness.
• Experience with substance use disorders and recovery-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate group therapy and provide supportive individual counseling.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation including progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Monitor patient progress and participation in treatment.
• Coordinate care with physicians, families, case managers, and other providers.
• Respond to crisis situations and implement behavioral interventions as needed.
