Chimes in Phoenixville, PA, seeks an Outpatient Therapist to provide diagnostic assessments and individual, family, and group psychotherapy for a diverse client population served by a Drug & Alcohol Outpatient Program.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a clinical discipline, 1 year of behavioral health experience, and licensure/certification considerations (LPC preferred; LCSW/PsyD a plus). Full-time, with competitive benefits and supervision leading toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a clinical discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
• One year of experience in behavioral health including work with justice-involved individuals is preferred.
• Licensure/certification: LPC preferred; LCSW or PsyD a plus; clinical supervision leading to licensure available.
• Clearances: PA Child Abuse, Criminal, and federal history; not on Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal clinical assessments of clients upon admission.
• Develop and oversee implementation of treatment plans.
• Provide crisis assessment and stabilization services as needed.
• Perform substance abuse treatment per program description.
• Conduct individual, family, or group therapy as clinically indicated.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
• Engage in supervision and meetings and collaborate with other providers.
