Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to guide patients through medically assisted treatment and coping strategies for opioid addiction. You'll lead group and individual sessions, collaborating with doctors, nurses and therapists to optimize recovery outcomes.

You will document progress, develop treatment plans, and ensure compliance with state regulations while delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science or Human Services.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals.
• Positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.
• Understanding of an EMR system.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
