Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor in the United States to guide patients through medically assisted programs. You will conduct individual and group counseling, coordinate care with the treatment team, and develop treatment plans compliant with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher in field with clinical experience in drug/alcohol setting.
• Bachelor's with 1 year clinical experience (1,820 hours) preferred.
• Associate degree with 2 years clinical experience (3,640 hours) plus certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
• Coordinate care and present patient status to treatment team.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans per state rules.
• Provide clinical services and opiate addiction counseling.
• Maintain excellent documentation and computer records.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
