Job summary

Great Bay Staffing Group seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join its outpatient rehabilitation team in the Southern Finger Lakes region. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct speech therapy to pediatric and adult clients across the lifespan.

Collaborating with physicians and nurses, you will document progress, participate in education for families, and contribute to program development while supporting ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.
• CCC from ASHA, or eligible to obtain.
• One to two years hospital-based experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.
• Provide direct speech therapy to pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and techniques.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with policy.
• Participate in departmental initiatives, in-service training, and continuing education.
• Contribute to development of innovative speech therapy programs and services.
