Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for ambulatory/outpatient care. You will perform nursing care, assist physicians, administer medications, and triage patient calls under the guidance of a licensed independent practitioner. You will educate patients and coordinate care across services.

The role involves 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $36.47–$47.89 per hour. Licensing in NJ/PA is required based on location, BSN preferred, and opportunities for research may exist.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; BSN preferred.
• RN license in NJ or PA required based on primary location.
• Must attain second out-of-state RN license within three months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care/treatment modalities appropriate for individual patients.
• Assists LIP with procedures and administers medications under protocol.
• Triages patient medical calls, assesses status and schedules per protocol.
• Obtains patient history, reviews labs, and prepares patients and records for visits.
• Documents quality control and maintains logs for laboratory work and tests.
• Participates in research studies depending on practice.
