Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide patient-centered care in an ambulatory/outpatient setting. The role involves administering medications, assisting with procedures, and documenting care while upholding Capital Health standards.

Ideal candidates will have an associates degree in nursing or higher, an active NJ or PA license, and the ability to obtain a second out-of-state license within three months.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• NJ or PA license based on primary state office location required.
• Must attain second out of state RN license within three months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care and treatment modalities appropriate for individual patients.
• Assists physicians with procedures and wound care.
• Educates patients and families and documents education and patient comprehension.
• Administers medications and vaccines as ordered and documents.
• Triages patient calls and schedules according to protocol.
• Maintains accurate records and quality control for laboratory tasks and sterilization.
