Job summary

Acadia Healthcare in Haverhill, MA, seeks a Director of Outpatient Services to lead PHP/IOP programs. You will manage day-to-day operations, align clinical and financial performance, supervise staff, and drive care quality for an expanding behavioral health continuum.

The role requires strong clinical credentials, operational leadership, and collaboration with executives to expand services. Onsite in Massachusetts with relocation and sign-on considerations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate-level Licensed Clinician – e.g., LCSW, LMHC, PsyD, PhD.
• Minimum of 4 years in behavioral healthcare, including 2+ years of operations and managerial experience.
• Experience with PHP and IOP levels of care strongly preferred. Preference for experience working with acute psychiatric hospital.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day PHP and IOP operations and clinical groups.
• Achieve business objectives: ADC, visits, revenue, EBITDA, patient retention and satisfaction.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as a visible leader to drive step-down admissions and outpatient care continuum.
• Support business development and outreach to enhance brand awareness.
