Job summary

Bournewood Health Systems seeks an experienced, independently licensed clinician to lead outpatient PHP operations across its Brookline campus and Woburn satellite. The Director will oversee clinical and administrative staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster partnerships to advance recovery-oriented care.

The role requires healthcare leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to trauma-informed, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a human services field and independent clinical licensure in Massachusetts (LICSW or LMHC preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive behavioral health leadership with at least 3 years in PHP/IOP leadership.
• Experience managing interdisciplinary teams and complex PHP/IOP operations.
• Strong knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, and managed care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of all PHP operations at Brookline and Woburn sites and supervise site program managers.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff; oversee professional development and evaluations.
• Coordinate care across an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care; supervise interns.
• Ensure compliance with Bournewood policies, Joint Commission, CMS, and payer requirements; monitor utilization reviews and authorizations.
• Foster external partnerships, quality improvement, and regular staff meetings.
