The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Outpatient RN - Infusion for interim/contingent coverage in the Ambulatory Services unit in Columbus. The role focuses on managing patient care, planning and coordinating nursing activities within infusion clinics.
The nurse will work 0.2 FTE across weekend infusion clinics and 1 weekday shift, with floating to multiple infusion sites as patient volume requires. Requires an Ohio nursing license and ACEN/CCNE accredited program degree.

The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient’s involvement in his/her own plan of care and reducing the length of hospitalization. The nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost effective care.
The nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit. *Experience in relevant care setting preferred.
This position will be required to work 2-3 shifts per month at our weekend infusion clinics. In addition, this position will require at least 1 shift during the work week and will be required to float to the five core infusion clinics throughout Columbus based on patient volume and daily staffing needs.
