Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a float Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care across multiple infusion clinics in Columbus. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in alignment with our professional practice model and patient-first approach.

The role requires an Ohio nursing license (or interim permit) and a CCNE/ACEN-accredited nursing program, with duties including weekend coverage at ACC East and floating to core infusion

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from CCNE or ACEN-accredited program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred. Float position across locations.

• Provide and supervise nursing care to patients and families.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
• Float to multiple infusion clinics and cover weekend shifts.

Scope of Position:

Position Summary:

The nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation
• Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred. This is a float position and as such, the nurse is expected to work at multiple locations.

This position will be required to work every other weekend at the ACC East Weekend Infusion clinic based out of East Hospital. In addition, this position will require floating to the five core infusion clinics throughout Columbus and will vary daily based on patient volume and staffing needs.
